Advertisements for products and services that appear in Hoof Beats and on U.S. Trotting Association websites shall not contain images of non-Standardbred horses, such as Thoroughbreds, Quarter Horses, or Greyhounds, so that advertisements will be consistent with our organizational mission to promote Standardbred racing and the Standardbred breed. Where the product or service is designed to be of equal benefit to Standardbreds and other breeds, advertisements may contain images of such individuals—if a Standardbred is depicted in a manner equal to the others. The U.S. Trotting Association is happy to provide—without charge—photographic images of Standardbred racehorses to permit advertisers to adhere to this policy.
